THOR, holding company of CLEM INDUSTRIE acquired A.M.C.

Thierry WETZEL created in 2003 close to Mulhouse (68) the company A.M.C., which produces precision mechanical parts (machining, milling,…)

CLEM INDUSTRIE, founded in 2001 by the OHRESSER family, has a similar activity to A.M.C. It has two production sites: Erstein (67) the historical one and Cernay (68), result of a first acquisition in 2016.

The merger between AMC and CLEM INDUSTRIE (consolidated turnover: €3.5 million) aims to form a regional group specialising in precision engineering through internal and external growth. The combination makes it possible to offer an expanded and differentiating range of solutions to a variety of industrial customers in Eastern France and Germany.

T. WETZEL supports the project by reinvesting in THOR and becoming the group’s senior manager. He brings his technical competence and experience to the management of CLEM INDUSTRIE to form a homogeneous and complementary team.
